Watch News: Seiko Launches Seiko Astron GPS Watch

One of the world’s leading watch innovators is at it again–Seiko just launched their new Seiko Astron GPS watch, which will obtain time information regardless of where in the world you happen to be. Pretty incredible, the new Seiko watch is capable of supporting 39 time zones worldwide.  Arriving in stores this September, the latest Seiko watch is a beautiful timepiece, too.
News of the Seiko Astron GPS had us wondering how on earth Seiko engineered the remarkable mens watch.  Turns out, the watch works  thanks to the help of an internal GPS chipset, which enables the Seiko Astron GPS to obtain the current time information no matter where you are. Electric waves from GPS satellites will inform the watch of where you are, and the watch will use that data and translate it to tell the time.
